vintage finds: june

After having a rut in my local/favorite thrift stores, I feel like I did pretty good last month. As I mentioned in the last "VINTAGE" post... you just gotta go in with an open mind. A lot of people like having a plan, a vision of what they're looking for - I won't say that's never worked for me because I've lucked out and big time, but I feel like if you concentrate in looking for one specific thing you can totally miss everything else. So I always try to aim in not focusing - just browse and take my time. I even circle stores/aisle twice sometimes and find completely new things that I missed the first time.

I often find myself being super drawn to things that are unique, different; even if they have scratches or defects I usually look the other way - that doesn't bug me. So this series will probably a constant repetition of similar things that are special in their own way (and mostly, mostly handmade - I'm such a sucker for that.). Most of these products, except for the patches (which I purchased in two awesome local vintage shops that I constantly visit and will feature in future posts), were acquired through my local Goodwill, Salvation Army and AMVETS.

In case you're wondering, I do thrift clothes and I'm working on posting those in the near future. Hope you liked looking at these and please always feel free to share what you prefer thrifting or what your favorite finds have been lately.

Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your week!
